How Can Drone Navigation Systems Achieve Reliable Positioning in GPS-Denied Urban Environments?

The MC-1010-G's multi-constellation support (GPS+GLONASS+GALILEO+QZSS) with 99-channel tracking and built-in 12 multi-tone active interference canceller ensures continuous positioning even when GPS signals are degraded in urban canyons. With 10Hz update rate and ultra-low 20mA power consumption, your drones maintain precise navigation without draining battery life. Contact us to receive integration guidelines and technical specifications for your next-generation drone platform.

The MC-1010-G features innovative hybrid ephemeris prediction technology that significantly reduces cold start time to less than 15 seconds. The self-generated EASY ephemeris prediction operates autonomously without network assistance for up to 3 days, while the server-generated EPO prediction extends validity to 14 days when internet connectivity is available. Additional advanced features include a built-in data logger, DC/DC converter for power optimization, direct lithium battery connection capability, and ±11ns high-accuracy time pulse (1PPS) output. The SMD-type module with stamp holes is RoHS compliant and operates reliably across -40°C to 85°C temperature range, making it the perfect positioning solution for personal navigation, automotive aftermarket systems, marine electronics, and wearable devices requiring dependable multi-constellation GNSS performance in a miniature package.

LOCOSYS MC-1010-G is a complete standalone GNSS module.

LOCOSYS MC-1010-G is based on MediaTek advanced new generation MT3333 GNSS chip. It is a complete standalone GNSS module which can simultaneously acquire and track multiple satellite constellations that include GPS, GLONASS, GALILEO, QZSS and SBAS.
It features low power and small form factor. Besides, it can provide you with superior sensitivity and
performance even in urban canyon and dense foliage environment.
This module supports hybrid ephemeris prediction to achieve faster cold start. One is self-generated
ephemeris prediction (called EASY) that is no need of both network assistance and host CPU’s intervention.
This is valid for up to 3 days and updates automatically from time to time when GNSS module is powered on and satellites are available. The other is server-generated ephemeris prediction (called EPO) that gets from an internet server. This is valid for up to 14 days. Both ephemeris predictions are stored in the on-board flash memory and perform a cold start time less than 15 seconds.
