LOCOSYS LV-1612-L5 is a high-performance L5-band GNSS module designed for applications requiring enhanced signal robustness and positioning reliability. Supporting GPS, Galileo and BeiDou, the module leverages the advanced L5 signal structure to provide improved resistance to interference, superior multipath mitigation and more stable measurement quality compared to conventional L1-only solutions.

Optimized for L5-only operation, the LV-1612-L5 delivers consistent and reliable positioning performance in challenging environments such as urban canyons and high-interference scenarios. With its robust signal characteristics and enhanced tracking stability, it is particularly well suited for applications that prioritize signal integrity and dependable navigation performance. The LV-1612-L5 offers an efficient and simplified solution for industrial navigation, smart infrastructure and emerging high-reliability GNSS applications.

At the core of the LV-1612-L5 is a highly integrated GNSS receiver chipset and positioning engine built on an advanced RF and baseband integration architecture. The module incorporates a Cortex-M4F processing core operating at 350 MHz, fabricated in 22-nm technology and housed in a compact 4 × 4 mm package, enabling high computational performance while maintaining excellent power efficiency. Through advanced signal search strategies and intelligent positioning algorithms, the receiver can evaluate tens of millions of time-frequency hypotheses per second, improving signal acquisition capability and ensuring stable tracking performance. Its strong cold-start sensitivity allows the receiver to obtain and maintain position fixes even under weak-signal or partially obstructed environments.

As a highly integrated GNSS module, the LV-1612-L5 is designed to streamline system development and lower the barrier to integrating high-performance satellite positioning capabilities. RF circuitry, baseband processing, filtering, amplification stages, positioning algorithms and system interfaces are fully optimized and pre-integrated within the module. This eliminates the need for complex RF design and GNSS signal tuning at the system level, allowing developers to rapidly incorporate reliable positioning functionality into their products. By adopting the LV-1612-L5 module, engineering teams can significantly reduce hardware design complexity, shorten RF calibration cycles, simplify system integration and mitigate development risks, while accelerating product development timelines and reducing overall time-to-market.
